We need the following:

·         Volunteers to help with land-based activities and camp support

·         Experienced skippers able to take responsibility for LBT owned and managed vessels

·         Offers of equipment and vehicles including 4WD utes, trailers, generators, marquees etc

·         Safety boats and safety boat operators

·         Anything else you can offer that we haven’t thought of yet

Some people have already informally indicated their willingness to assist – even if we’ve had the conversation please complete the questionnaire so I can be confident I have not missed anyone.

Many people have volunteered their support for several past Raids and do so because they love being part of it but don’t necessarily want to be on the water. We are hugely grateful to them and couldn’t run the expeditions without them.

However, if our gratitude isn’t reward enough, some roles include further incentives, for example, land-based volunteers can spend one day as a participant on the water at half the normal cost in return for each day spent volunteering on land. This means they can be involved with the entire Raid for a quarter of the full cost.
