Capricornia is currently being offered for sale by her owner. She is familiar to many members, having participated in all recent tawe nunnugah Raids and has provided the opportunity to participate in the Raids to many members who either don’t own their own boats or are unable to row for long distances. If she is sold and no longer available to participate in the Raids, the LBT’s ability to provide its members with the opportunity to experience the Raids will be significantly diminished. The LBT Committee is currently considering purchase of Capricornia and encourages submissions from members, either in favour or against the acquisition, to help them with their decision – submissions already received are available at: lbt.org.au.  The purchase will only go ahead if there is a show of support for adding her to the LBT fleet.
