Pre-departure Safety Check - Clarification

The requirement for a pre-departure check applies to the Raid boats in the tn19 fleet - not the larger accompanying yachts and mother boats.  All people involved in the Raid are reminded that the person-in-charge of a vessel is always principally responsible for the safety of a boat and her crew. All participants in the Raid are required to accept the Conditions of Participation. Neither the establishment of Conditions of Participation, their use by the tn19 Raid organisers or their delegates, nor the inspection of a boat under the Conditions of Participation in any way limits or reduces the complete and unlimited responsibility of the person-in-charge of a vessel. The Conditions of Participation in tn19 are available on-line at:  http://lbt.rforster.org/tn19/terms-and-conditions-of-participation-in-tn19

The recent tn19 News Post on pre-departure safety checks included links to an on-line form to be completed by the skippers of all Raid boats and to information on the MAST web-site. These links were not translated as active links when sent out by email. All tn19 News Post are available on the tn19 website and the links there are active. Skippers of Raid boats - please complete the form by visiting the tn19 News article on the tn19 website: hhttp://lbt.rforster.org/tn19/tn19-news/pre-departuresafetycheckforallraidboats
