Hobart on the first evening of the AWBF is mayhem, but as we take our ‘Duty of Care’ seriously at the LBT we are not going to abandon you. After ten days on the Raid you will be thoroughly institutionalised and quite unable to organise a dinner booking for yourself. So we’ve made a block booking for dinner at the Hope and Anchor for 6.30 pm – they tell me it will be “Honest pub food, cooked well”. This follows immediately after the tn19 Welcome event and means you can put off making a decision for yourself until the next day. We may even organise a fixed menu to remove any risk of stress.
