Return Raid – major changes to route announced

We have made major changes to the route for the Return Raid. We will now spend the first night (13 Feb) at South Arm, the second night (14 Feb) at Woodbridge and the final night (15 Feb) at Charlotte Cove.

The main reason for the changes are to reduce the passage on the first day. The organisers of the Australian Wooden Boat Festival prefer vessels to remain on site until Monday afternoon making it difficult for us to get an early start and raising the likelihood that we would be facing a long haul into a sea breeze on the first day out. The new schedule starts with a short passage of 7 NM to South Arm. If you have made any plans around the old published route, please note these changes and  modify your plans to fit.

Only 7 days left to pledge a contribution to the restoration of the Montagu Whaler – if you want to be part of this historic restoration please make a pledge at:  https://pozible.com/project/rescue-our-monty
