Brace yourselves: invoices on the way

The good news is that organisation for the Raid is proceeding rapidly. The not so good, for those on the Priority List (those who entered an EOI before 15 September), is that you should prepare to break into your piggy banks: we are about to bill you. The even worse news is that invoices will be accompanied by ‘Conditions of Participation' and ‘Payment Policies’ documents.

These things aren't much fun. One's heart drops and eyes glaze over when dealing with them, but before you send us money we need to be clear about expectations to avoid future disappointment. To this end we've tried to keep these documents as brief and to the point as possible - hence the absence of warm and fuzzy adjectives.

We’ve imposed very tight timelines for payment and established a clear refund policy. The purpose of both is to encourage people to make their decision on whether to commit or withdraw sooner rather than later – so as not to inconvenience those waiting in the queue on the Reserve List who are hoping for the opportunity to join the expedition. If you entered an EOI after 15 September you are on the Reserve List and we hope to offer some people on the Reserve List places soon after 28 October (the due date for payment of invoices going out now).

Please read the Conditions of Participation and Payment Policies so you are comfortable with what to expect when the invoice arrives. Follow the links here:
