(Thanks to Graham Wright for providing the summary and rounding up the manuals) The LBT owns the following radios 3 X Icom M23's 1 X Cobra MRHH 400 4 X MRHH 125's 4 X GX620's The Icom's are excellent radios with good batteries, 1/5 watts and waterproof. Cobra MRHH 400 is an old but solid radio but requires 6 dry cells to use. The Cobra MRHH 125's are only 1/3 watt and the batteries are getting old. The GX620's are 1/5 watt, the batteries like the Cobras are getting old. Unless operators are qualified channel 77 should be used and CH 16 should be avoided. |
