Work to be done before the Raid starts

We need your help to get everything ready for the 2019 Raid. The job list includes:

  • Sprucing up some of the LBT fleet including the Monty and Swiftsure
  • Maintenance and checking of the food cool store trailer and barbecues
  • Design and construction of the new expedition water trailer
  • Re-rigging Gretchen
  • Collecting, rigging and checking two modified Hartley TS16s on loan from the Geneva Christian School in Latrobe
  • Completing the second St Ayles skiff rig
  • Allocating and checking safety gear for the LBT boats involved in the Raid
  • …and much more besides

Whether or not you are participating in the Raid please consider helping the LBT by helping get everything ready. If you can help, please come along to a planning meeting at the LBT next Monday (7 Jan) at 5pm. We need people who are prepared to take responsibility for getting a range of jobs done by taking charge, as well as people who can follow instructions and work under guidance.
