What to do whilst the Shed is shut down

We have received the following (edited) email from the Tasmanian Men's Shed Association.

'Good morning Shed Members,
As many members would be aware,  due to the Covid-19 virus some sheds have chosen to close. So far, this remains only Sheds that are connected to Community Houses. Sheds that remain open have advised their members of their individual plan for keeping members safe. We encourage you all to keep in touch with those members choosing to stay at home by giving them a call. Some sheds are also getting involved with Community work delivery supplies to the elderly and those that can't leave their homes and those with surplus veggies in their gardens are making them available to their communities. Some sheds are helping out with firewood deliveries.  At TMSA we are also giving some thought as to a role we can play in helping our members that are isolated and also the wider community at this time.  We trust that all advice in regards to social distancing is taken into consideration, also any members that feel that they are not well in any way to also consider your fellow members in any decisions you make.'

We take the positive message that we should be thinking about what we can do to help each other and the community at this time - we know some LBT members are already doing this.  We aren't organised yet, but if you have suggestions that involve the LBT send them to sec@lbt.org.au
