Coastal Navigation with Greg Guy;



Greg will run a coastal navigation course at the Wooden Boat Centre, two weeknights per week, 26th July - 8th September.  The course is designed to give students practical knowledge and basic navigation skills for safe boating.  Two practical boating sessions on weekend days will be included as part of the course.   This will give students the opportunity to get on the water and practice applied knowledge.  Suitable dates for the on water practical components of the course will be negotiated with the group on course commencement.  No prior boating or navigation knowledge is necessary.


Course duration: 6.30 – 9pm Tuesday and Thursday nights for 6 weeks.
Tuition fees: $360 (or $240 for Living Boat Trust and Franklin Working Waterfront Association members)
Materials: $40 for a local chart.  Some drawing instruments required – To be advised.
Note: Enrolments will be accepted on course commencement.
