  • I was told that Betsy was built in a couple of weeks, but has taken a lot longer to restore.
Under John Young's guidance using traditional boat building methods she is now ready to go back in the river.
  • The river end of the veranda is now clear and tidy for social events.
  • On the southern side of the shed a lot of the timber has been cut and sorted leaving a tidier area.
  • Work is continuing on 'Flatty' and 'Gretchen' which both will see completion in early 2018.
  • Once Betsy is back in the river the next project to start will be the Flying 15 which is a very rare version, being carvel built.
  • As requested a ladder has been constructed for the north end of the shed that houses the Grebes and will installed soon.
