Skiffy Topher Dawson from Ullapool in Scotland writes:

'By coincidence a friend posted these photos on Facebook today. They are of a boat [Sgorr na Craig] I built at Lunawanna on Bruny Island for a friend Alan Bush, out of Huon pine, to an old Scottish design, in 1983. My son saw it in a garden on the SE coast of Tassie about 2 years ago so it’s probably still around.  It was 20ft long and 8ft 3 inches wide, but a lovely shape! It could carry a good load too. In the first picture I’m at the helm and in the second, Alan’s son Ewan is. Alan is the guy with the beard.'

He would be interested to find out if anybody knows about the boat, apparently last seen in a yard in Snug.  Email sec@lbt.org and the message will be passed on.
