Events in Victoria and recent announcements by Peter Gutwin (Premier of Tasmania for those who are elsewhere) have had people asking where we stand with Tawe Nunnugah. This was a topic of discussion at the recent Committee meeting, and the answer is that we are enthusiastic to go ahead, but with the expectation that we will have to be very flexible. It may end up being a Tasmanian event only, or at the opposite extreme all our international friends may be able to come along. We have after all been through something similar, with the 2019
Tawe Nunnugah being severely impacted by bushfires. We were still able
to have a lot of fun on that occasion, and to come to come out of it
with our financial honor intact. And we have learnt from that
experience. Follow planning progress on the TN21 website https://tinyurl.com/y69gnrm9 . We notice from this site that as of Monday July 27th there are only 183 days to go! |
