'The Swiftsure Regatta had something for everyone on Sunday. Beginning with the Roger Harwood wooden dinghy rowing circuit race, the event was won by Kevin Robson in just over 45 minutes, despite the strong winds and constant pressure from high-calibre 2019 trophy-holder, Dave Nash. A Swiftsure Whaleboat crew achieved the fastest time-trial despite blustery conditions and Billie the St Ayles Skiff won the 1km pursuit with a determined rowing team. The afternoon program included the sailing “Rat-race” around Rat Island that swung into action with five Grebes, despite the hazards of an extremely low tide. The 1917 wooden ferry Nancy took out a packed spectator group that was able to watch the challenges of the sailing action which finished with an easy win for “Team Yukon” – with skipper Aaron Nash - in 46 minutes and 28 seconds. There were opportunities to try everything. A book launch wrapped up the memorable day – The Story of St Ayles Skiffs in Australia with the rowing movement starting at the LBT in 2011 aiming to support community initiatives. Thanks to Tess for a great BBQ and fresh scones!'

Looks like Kevin Robson took advantage of the assembled masses to get his mast back in too - see last pic below.
