Start of a project boat?

Hans Sipsma was considering it, but he probably needs more than the remnants shown in the pics below to make a start.  They were found washed up on the wild west coast near Marawah.  Once upon a time this place was a 'culinary capital'.  You'd collect your shellfish from the nearby rock gutters, take them up to the dugout on the nearest midden for a bit of shelter, light a fire and sit back and eat, chucking the remains over your shoulder to add to the construction.  Judging from the size of the middens it was a very popular thing to do for a very long time.  It is a place to pause and reflect on the past.
