'You may have heard about the proposed woodchip loading facility in Port Esperance Bay. This massive development will have a significant impact on our Bay and tourism in the Far South.  This proposal is very well progressed and has had no public consultation. Additionally this will go through Council at a time when we do not have any elected representatives.  The community has organised a public meeting with the developer to ask further questions. We encourage all concerned Huon valley residents to come along and find out more. Please see link below  Meeting is at 6pm Wednesday 6th at Port Esperance sailing club. For more information about the proposal go to .'
