'You may have heard about the proposed woodchip loading facility in Port Esperance Bay. This massive development will have a significant impact on our Bay and tourism in the Far South.  This proposal is very well progressed and has had no public consultation. Additionally this will go through Council at a time when we do not have any elected representatives.  The community has organised a public meeting with the developer to ask further questions. We encourage all concerned Huon valley residents to come along and find out more. Please see link below https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1600516439987448&id=119938664711907.  Meeting is at 6pm Wednesday 6th at Port Esperance sailing club. For more information about the proposal go to www.southwoodfibre.net .'
