When you see a chap leaning on a shovel you know that things are definitely on the move.  Graham Wright reports:

'Tuesday started early for some with the plumber arriving at 8:30 to check on the site. Allan offered to excavate inside and outside to locate the existing plumbing.

We had to clear an area 2400 mm from the existing toilet to make room for the equal access toilet which unfortunately is a very cluttered area. To make room we had to empty the large grey shelf unit and move it to behind the blue lockers. Then we moved the lathe and the workbench after clearing away all the gear on and under it and finally cut a bit off the paint bench under the window.

While the paint bench was clear Peter Hill decided to clean the windows, the first time in a while I suspect.

It is a large area to loose from the workshop until the extension is finished so a lot of machinery is stacked up around the roller door which has to be moved to get boats in and out. We are trying to avoid double handling but as the workshop needs to remain in use as we still need to maintain the LBT's boats.'
