The LBT has received the following email from Adam Fraser. 'I am the current owner / custodian of Pandora , one class design built 1910 in HOBART. I have salvaged her from Franklin last year and she currently is moored in Cygnet. Unfortunately I have not the time or money to upkeep her and I am currently residing in Sydney. I would be extremely grateful if the Living Boat Trust could take on
Pandora and I would very happily donate her to your organization. This
would be unconditional! I would like to ask if you can take her that I
could be a member of your trust and when I get to spend time in Tasmania
I could assist in working, maintaining and even sailing this beautiful
historic vessel. I believe Pandora is a noteworthy vessel for the living boat trust to acquire and hopefully will not be a burden. She needs to be moved from the mooring she is on as it has been sold by the owner who would like her moved as soon as possible. Please contact me if you are agreeable to taking Pandora and I will see how I can assist in any way.' |
