When a fast moving racing shell meets a very stationary putt putt (John Walduck's 'Gemma') something is bound to give, unfortunately below the waterline.  Some quick thinking (and moving) got Gemma up on the bank before she sank.  We think the rower is ok.

John says: 'HUGE thank you to David Nash and Martin Kell (and any others) for their rescue efforts in securing Gemma.'
