On the water with local schools

Huonville Primary School students came down for a day of rowing and paddle making on Wednesday.  David Budd had an eye on the weather, and had organised plenty of indoor activities in case it turned foul.  In the event the steady wind made being on the water difficult but not impossible, and after Mike Dredge had towed the boats upwind we were able to have a good row back to the shed.  Once there the grown ups had a hard time keeping up a supply of paddle blanks to the students who enthusiastically sanded them into shape.

A good time had by all and we look forward to more sessions with Huonville and the other local schools.  If you want to help out please contact the secretary (sec@lbt.org.au) or David Budd (62663571 or 0408212495)
