Nancy is coming

Martin Krynen, the restorer and owner of Nancy, writes that she 'is booked to be picked up on Monday 12th May at 7.30am'.  This has been a bit of a saga:  to those who have forgotten (or who don't know), Nancy is a motor launch/ferry built in 1917 for the Rowes of Brooks Bay on the Huon.   Martin was looking for a Tasmanian home for her, and the Living Boat Trust are the very lucky (and grateful) beneficiaries  of his generosity.   We look forward to seeing her soon.

The pic below shows Nancy being loaded for transport on a previous occasion.  The second pic shows her cover - she should be able to survive the rigors of a Tasmanian winter under that.
