'Just in time for Christmas!! After some very busy days over the past two weeks, we are very pleased to announce our latest exhibition, "War at Sea - the Navy in WW1" is open for business. This major travelling exhibition from the Australian National Maritime Museum has been installed in the newly repainted and refurbished Carnegie Gallery at the Maritime Museum of Tasmania in Argyle Street. This is a great venue and it looks even more fabulous now. We have been flat out the past few days bumping in the displays. It took some herculean efforts from our trusty volunteers to manoeuvre the cases and boxes from the trucks inside and up to the Carnegie gallery. Staff from the ANMM have also been busy at work installing the objects, photographs and art work in the Gallery. '
