The rigging and sails for the Grebes are looking a bit tired. We need to inspect them and identify and make the necessary repairs. The next opportunity to do this is this coming Monday afternoon (30 December) after 3pm (an 'off' day in the sailing calendar). John Walduck is very familiar with the intricacies of the Grebe rig, and has offered to be 'leading hand'. For those of us less familar, this will be a good opportunity to see how to distinguish between a gaff and a boom and how all the bits fit together. Come along and help out.
