John Wadsley, Maritime Heritage Coordinator of the Maritime Museum of Tasmania writes...

Hi to all my MHOoTie Mateys,

Hope you are all well and surviving the winter chills.  But I think we would all agree we need more rain!

Anyway, attached is the flyer for the next Monthly talk on Tuesday, August 1st .  Please circulate widely through your membership and networks – and make the time to come along.

Peter Higgs will be talking on his 6 month Australian Register of Historic Vessels (ARHV) project funded by the Australian National Maritime Museum.  Not only are his findings very impressive, but he brings great knowledge to the matter of historic boat identification and restoration.

And the Royal Society room is warm and cosy, so there’s another great reason to come along!!!
