Our man in the Hebrides has filed this report on a fine northern raid:

This is Temple Beach on Little Bernera Island in the outer Hebrides. The villagers from across the loch used to ferry their dead here to be buried. 

 Charlie Green stands by 'Florence', upon which the burgee flew.  Charlie was her principle builder.

Florence was rowed to this beach as part of a Raid organised by Murdo Macleod, (pictured above hauling in yet another mackerel). 
Murdo has participated in several Raids in NZ and Tasmania, and thought that it would be a good idea to run one on his own patch. 
The half dozen or so LBT members who went along for the ride think it was an inspired notion. They had a great time.
