Graham Wright has sent through some updates from the Tuesday Group - Great work folks! - The Grebe 'Lightwood Bottom' is nearly finished and should be ready to go back in the water next Tuesday.
This has been a complete overhaul to restore it's former glory. A lot of work has gone into this especially the varnish work.
- Punto also is getting close to be finished, a couple of weeks maybe and looking good.
- Another Grebe 'Huon Explorer' is progressing well. Nice combination of new paint and varnish work.
- The Whaler 'Monty' has had two planks replaced and now the new butt blocks are being fitted with copper nails and roves.
This a slow procedure but using traditional methods. There are a few more nails to go and then painting can begin subject to weather.
