It's the silly hat season again,  and we at the LBT intend plunging right in: after all we have our very own silly hat. There are two events to put in the calendar immediately (or just sync with the LBT calendar which already has both). On Friday December 18th:

• Participants in the parade to gather at the LBT 5-5.15pm;
  
• Parade along the foreshore to Village Green;
  
• Free BBQ at the Green;
  
• Boat parade to get prepared at LBT, starting 6.15 pm; 
  
• Leave at 6.45pm for landing at Village Green, bringing music, elves etc. 
  
• Party, choir, brass band, children's activities etc.
  

We are hoping for a real fleet to send downriver, so come along and be part of it. 

Monday 21st December will be the last dinner of the year, and as is traditionally the case, the cooks get a night off, and it a BRING YOUR OWN.  There will be SOME BBQ fair available for sale.  NO COST.
