And that boat was the mighty Viking, our piners' launch from the Gordon River brought to us by Simon Pargeter. The intrepid mariners were taking her from the swampy berth where she has been laid up for many months around to the boat ramp. The good news was she floated! She is coming into the shed for restoration.   |
