FINAL REMINDER ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND QUIZ NIGHT

A final reminder to all our members that the AGM is being held this Saturday the 24th of September, starting at 6pm at the Franklin Bowling Club. At the last Committee meeting a motion was adopted to maintain the number of ordinary members at eight, as has been the the convention in previous years. A healthy sign of member interest is that for the first time in a long time, if ever, we have more nominations than positions, so we need a proper election! We aren't sure about  the stance the nominees are taking, although there have been vague mutterings about a Jacquie Lambie faction and Eddie Obeid may also be taking an interest. So come along on Saturday night, have your vote, and help us sort it.  It's going to be a busy and exciting year ahead for the new committee. Following the formalities, it's time to get the the grey cells working with our quiz, Graham will be the quiz master and there may even be prizes! So please come along, have your say, enjoy some good company, and, most importantly bring a plate to share. AGM is free, if you want to stay for the quiz, it's $5.
