On Thursday afternoon Yukon slipped her moorings, gave a blast of farewell on her foghorn to the assembled well-wishers, and departed for Cygnet with an excursion group on the first leg of her East Coast Odyssey.  We wish her fair winds.  Thanks to Dennis Muscovich's beautifully carved compass cover she takes a little bit of Franklin with her wherever she goes.
