Excursion with Wooden Boat Guild to Huonville

On Sunday morning a jolly good company of people and boats assembled at the Franklin pontoon and boat ramps, and headed off up the Huon.  Rowing into the prevailing north-westerly wind kept those with oars in their hands honest,  and the landing at Huonville was a welcome sight when we finally arrived.  A repaste and we were ready to take to the water again, where of course a sea breeze to row against had kicked in. But it was good.

Thanks to the Wooden Boat Guild and Andrew Perkins in particular for organising what has become an anticipated annual event.  See pictures below from Viv Martin and Zainab Clark.
