Bert van Baar sent us a link to this. The translated introduction says: 'BOAT BUILDING IN WAKE OF ABEL TASMAN.
In early December six students left from the Wood and Furniture College in Amsterdam and Rotterdam with their teacher Bert van Baar for Australia to build a 16m2 sailing dingy. The project was dedicated to Abel Tasman who arrived in Tasmania 375 years ago. This mini-documentary (https://youtu.be/vrEGzK0hZr0) follows the students during the construction of the boat and talks about what moved them to participate in this project.' Helps if you can speak Dutch. |
