Many of us remember 'Notorious', the spectacularly evil looking Portuguese caravel replica, from her visit to Franklin. Her home port is Geelong, and her owners very generously made her available for a welcoming 'cocktail' (read beer) party for all we ozzie Skiffies participating in the Geelong Wooden Boat Festival. Not so long ago 'we ozzie Skiffies' were exclusively Tasmanians, but now there are Western Australians, South Australians, and a variety of Victorian groups who have joined us, so unfortunately the beer has to stretch that much further.
