'The story that has been passed down with the boat is that ROYAL was built by Peter Locke sometime in the late 20's. Named in honour of a Royal visit for a South Australian cray fisherman by the name of Prengal.  Built of 3/4 inch NZ Kauri ROYAL is 28 LOD 10 Foot Beam. 3 foot draft. 6 feet with plate down. ROYAL was said to launched without a motor. About 10 years ago ROYAL was discovered under a tarp on the Tasmanian fishing village of Dover and taken to Cygnet where a group including the boat builder Lindsay Wood carried out complete rebuild of the boat over 7 year's....  A number of Couta Boats were launched as ROYAL.'
I look forward to any comments or help! '
