Diesel course gets the thumbs up

Dave Melville attended the course at Franklin Marine last Sunday.

'The stucture of the course is well thought-out, with a selection of sample engines and their various component parts on hand, plus the range of necessary tools and spares to  be kept on board a boat to keep things humming along smoothly. It covers both maintainance and trouble-shooting. After all, Murphy and his Law are stowaways by nature.

I'ld say to anybody, if you don't already know this stuff, then put your name down for the next course. On a lee shore one day it might save not only your engine, but your boat and your life as well. Good value.   '

There is more eulogizing, but I'll spare Laurence's blushes and leave that bit out.
