Cheek pieces for the Montagu Whaler

In November 2017 the following news item was posted.

'Some time ago there was discussion about how to decorate the 'cheek pieces' on the Montagu Whaler, those discs at the front of the boat where a ship's crest would normally be displayed.  Friend of the LBT (and old Whaler man) Bernie Bruen suggested knots to be replaced each year:  that way we end up with a nice little display collection.  We thought that it would be great if Greg Guy could tie the initial set, and he did.  On Tuesday we had a ceremony to install them with John Young doing the honors.'

It is time to replace Greg's knots, and the Homecoming Regatta would be a good time to do it.  We would like to honor somebody associated with the LBT by giving them the opportunity to tie the next set.  The question is, who?  If you have a recommendation please forward it, with your reasons, to sec@lbt.org.au.
