Capricornia went to Dover for the Regatta. Shown here are some of the crew Rob, Hans, Will and Pip. Richard Martin and Henk (not pictured) also came down for the race. After a huge amount of work by many people over the last few weeks Capricornia's mast was repaired and rigged for the event. Unfortunately the wind was so blustery and violent that the whole sailing part of the Regatta was cancelled. As a crew we were disappointed not to race but relieved not to have to go out and capsize! NOW THE NEXT HAPPY EVENT WILL BE THE RETURE DELIVERY BACK TO FRANKLIN. Please let Hans or Pip know if you are interested. Our commiserations and thanks go to the port Esperance sailing club committee for their wonderful work organising this event. At least we got the rowing in yesterday before the wind got to outrageous!
