Martin Riddle writes: 

'When the LBT was thinking of buying Capricornia, as part of the agreement Piet offered to do a few improvements to make the trailer even more of an asset for the LBT. Early in March he put the modified trailer to the test during the launch of this hefty yacht at Cygnet. The improvements include a four-wheel dolly at the front to assist with maneuvering the trailer, a long draw bar to allow the towing vehicle to remain well away from the water while launching and adjustable cradle arms to accommodate a variety of hull shapes and sizes. Thanks Piet – the practical ingenuity of our members never fails to amaze.' 

We have recently spoken to Piet, and look forward to using the trailer to put our whaleboats to bed for winter.
