From David Budd and Barbara Dawson: 'Mid-summer twilight row/paddle from Franklin to Huonville (Boatshed Cafe) and back (mostly with tide assistance). Invite going out to all LBT members, WOW women + any non-powered boating friends. The idea is to get Imagine, Swiftsure, Grebes and any private row or paddle boats to Huonville and back. Float-in for take away fish and chips from Boatshed Cafe before it closes at 8pm (will let them know numbers ahead of time). Leave Franklin at 5.30pm sharp - the sunset is 8.46pm, the high tide around 8.30pm. Rowan to accompany the fleet and if necessary tow any stragglers, wimps and those who have overindulged in chips back home. Need qualified volunteers to crew Rowan in order to ensure trip goes ahead.
