A couple of years ago the local Australia Day celebrations were moved from Huonville to Franklin oval, which importantly meant that activities could not only be by the river but also ON the river.  Our long suit.  Lorrie and the team have the novice rowers queued up to have a go on the Skiffs,  the LBT marquee is full of happy paddle makers who issue forth to try out their handiwork in the Grebes, and Nancy is busy plying up and down with passengers who want a more leisurely nautical experience.  It's a great day - all we need is enough people come along on FRIDAY 26TH JANUARY to run it.  If you can help out add your name to the list by submitting it through the form below (https://goo.gl/Px5hsi), or by emailing the secretary at sec@lbt.org.au.  For more details see the planned activities and schedule at https://goo.gl/K2YcHZ.
