The latest from the Australian Wooden Boat Festival.  Paul Cullen writes:

'Here's your copy of the latest news from the MyState Australian Wooden Boat Festival.  The date that many of you have been waiting for has arrived (well, almost!) Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for Boats Afloat in the 2017 festival will open on Monday morning, April 18.  It's not a race - all EOIs go to our selection panel for careful review and the selection is made from the pool of all entries received by the closing date, Monday 17 October.  But it doesn't hurt to get your EOI in early:  the judges can only work with what we've received.  Take your time and make your EOI count.  Check our Top Five Tips in this newsletter to boost your chances.

Whether you are planning to bring your boat or just attend our four-day celebration of everything to do with wooden boats, the month's news has some interesting developments in the Dutch theme for the 2017 event, news from across the Tasman Sea and more.'
