Last year Huon Valley Council decided to open up the ceremonies and hold them on the foreshore.  They catered for 500 people and 1200 turned up!  Long and the short of it is that all these people didn't really fit, so the council have decided to move the event to the Franklin where there is more space.  They want LOTS of activity on the water, and have spoken with us about providing it.   There will be more information coming: this is an early heads up to put the morning of Tuesday January 26th in your diary.
