'Shane and Jane Johnson, joined Augusta (W.A.) crew to explore the Hardy's Inlet near the Blackwood River. The Augusta skiffs, after a much-celebrated launch in September, have been well-used by the Augusta community rowing group, which has even explored further afield up to Molloy Island. The next challenge could be the open waters of the ocean at Flinders Bay. The group are really enjoying the freedom created by the building of the St Ayles Skiffs which has opened up opportunities for so many locals. For the Tasmanians, in testing conditions, it was a great start to 2021 with a New Year's Day exploratory row. Zoom and Colour Patch were named through sponsorship rights - after a local cafe and a fast boat. Thankyou Augusta for a wonderful start to the new year and the hospitality of a small community.'
