After the success of the expedition to the Kettering Wooden Boat Rally back in February many of us thought we should do something similar again, and that the best opportunity was the Anzac day long weekend, 25-27th April.  Trouble was that our planning time got taken up with the Focus on Franklin, the raffle and all the other activities that are going on at the moment.  There was a meeting at 6pm Monday night  (7th April) at the Shed to see if we could revive the idea, but when it was pointed out that this clashed with David Nash's 50th birthday party it was decided that we would not proceed.
