We were rowing towards the boat ramp on Sunday when we were startled by a roar and turned around to see a hovercraft gliding across the river.  Later discussion with its builder and pilot Martin revealed that he too was concerned by the roar and has plans to modify the design to reduce it to a whisper.  He and Charlotte have moved to Glen Huon where they plan to manufacture these craft.
