'LBT members may remember seeing Last One a skiff designed by Allan Witt at the LBT during the summer of 2017/18 with a ‘for sale’ sign. I built it and Allan has it in his workshop and it is still for sale. My wife Di and I have sold our 38’ Jeanneau sloop , Pied Piper 2 also due to aged bones and diminishing balance – ours not hers. With no boats to build or repair, I have taken to cabinetry using hoop pine ply. See picture. Readers may also remember PP2 at anchor off the Wooden Boat Centre on and off during summers past, as well as the Seawind cat Sonsy, owned by our mates Barb and Bruce McKinlay of Adventure Bay. Sonsy and PP2 have cruised many a mile in company, in southern Tasmania.  We were intending to drop by the LBT in March but we had to return home to Adelaide whilst we still could. An account of our cruise on Sonsy in early in March is attached here (https://tinyurl.com/y9nobsfz). Best wishes to all at the LBT;  keep making shavings!'
