An invite has been received from the Australian Maritime Museums Council for anyone interested in a workshop at Devenport on "How to build an Educational or Public Program from Scratch".

"Come join us for the next AMMC Regional Workshop hosted by the Bass Strait Maritime Centre on Thursday 31st October and  Friday 1st November 2019.  Travel to Devonport - Northern Tasmania, may be required, so we recommend considering arrival in Devonport on the 30th October 2019.

The theme of the Workshop is centered on 'How to build an Educational or Public Program from scratch'.  The Workshop will feature plenty of delegate interaction, participation, and learning with a range of experienced and interesting Workshop leaders.

The Workshop begins on the morning of Thursday 31st October and runs through until lunchtime on Friday 1st November. It will include the 2019 AGM.

You can preview the program of the Workshop on the AMMC website.

The Workshop delegate fee of $50 simply covers the cost of the event.

There is an optional dinner on Thursday evening at an additional cost per person of $75."
