Mark Burgin writes 'Laurence
has been living and working in the Huon Valley for 10 years and in that
time built Franklin Marine and Marina, educated many mariners and
helped instigate the upgrade of the leads up the Huon River to bring
easy boating access to Franklin. Life has thrown a tough twist to Laurence, meaning he will be swallowing the anchor sooner rather than later. There will be a gathering with Laurence on Saturday 2nd of June from 3-6pm at the Living Boat Trust to celebrate his life and achievements and all his friends are welcome to join us.'  |
