Fiona Peate writes: 'Admiral is celebrating her 150th birthday today (26 August). This Saturday Members of the Restoration Group, friends and crew are planning to re-enact the original launch at the Hobart Domain then row around to Waterman’s Dock arriving 12 midday. It is hoped there will be media coverage at Waterman’s Dock. Our Facebook page has info and photos https://www.facebook.com/admiralrestorationgroup. Admiral has been a welcome participant in LBT activities, perhaps most memorably to transport the Governor to the centenary celebrations for the Palais Theatre in 2012 (see pics below).
