'After a stellar premier season in the Theatre Royal Backspace in July, Tasmania Performs is bringing ‘Twelve Times He Spoke’ to regional Tasmanian towns – including Franklin. This one-man show stars Guy Hooper. It tells the life journey of a man both ordinary and extraordinary - via significant moments of speech in his lifetime. These 12 pivotal moments between the ages of 7 and 55 represent the highs and lows of his life – what he says in those moments but also what he doesn't say, or cant face saying that reveal who he is and where his life is at. From a shy schoolboy being berated by a teacher to a broken man with the alcohol shakes….. Recommended for 16 years+ Strong language and adult themes.'
